Well it has been a busy year hasn't it? Starting commercially just a little over a year ago, LightEyez has gone through a lot of changes. Therefore, I thought it would be good opportunity, to use our first blog entry to recap and introduce our company and myself to all our current and future customers. Hey Everyone, My name is Charlie Carmichael and I am the CEO of LightEyez Ltd. I am a former Doctor of 25+ years and created LightEyez five years ago with the intention of finding a permenant solution to changing peoples eye colour. And I have been here ever since. I believe in everything we do and most importantly I believe in all of our products. I welcome your comments on all things, please direct any of your thoughts, by emailing me at: [email protected] !!! :) Well now that the introductions are out of the way, lets get back to the changes :) LightEyez has gone from a small company, with a humble office in the suburbs, to a large office deep in the finance district of London. Our sales have increased 5000% since we first started, and we are now shipping to over one thousand customers a week. However, what we are most proud of, is that we consistently have repeat customers, which I believe is the most important factor in determining how well your business is doing and most importantly, whether consumers like your products. We have also expanded our operations alongside our growth. We now employ more packers and shippers than two months ago; in order to meet demand. And are happy to announce, that from today we are resuming dispatching all orders within three days, which I know you all will be very happy about. Do any of you remember our first (crummy) website? Well through several iterations, and some technical difficulties :) we have this shiny new one. Please let us know how you feel about our website and what you want changed and most importantly what you want added! We have begun to create further distribution channels, in the US, Through Ebay and Etsy and hopefully we will be able to expand through more distribution centres in Europe this coming year. Trying to handle sole distribution in the UK was not technically feasible, so we happily welcome all our new distributors into the LightEyez family :) We have also gone through some changes to our product portfolio, firstly with our Premium Range (which have received rave reviews) and now our New Advanced Range. Which you should definitely check out!, The science behind it and the innovations we have made to all get these ingredients into these eye drops, is simply amazing! We will be having another blog entry discussing these, in September, with (Mitch Powers, our Communications Officer). So also check that out ! We are also considering adding other products to the store, such as Organic Skincare and other Branded Skincare products. As well as other eye products, such as Eye Masks. Please sound off in the poll at the bottom, as to whether you think this is a good idea or not? We have also went through some lable iterations as well. Hopefully, now you will find the current labelling more useful? We fully understand our labelling is not ideal at present. However, we are in a process of finalising our full product line and once this is done, we will create, uniform, high DPI, waterproof labels, across the entire range. Despite a busy year, we do not plan to stop anytime soon. And we have a lot of exciting changes planned in both the short and medium term. We will be using this blog moving forward to keep you all updated. (My IT department has informed me that you can subscribe to this blog by clicking the RSS links to the right). As a preview, within the coming months, we plan to have a video with one of our study participants as well as a Q&A. They have (luckily for them, but slightly unlucky for us), secured a lucrative modelling contract and they are currently in Japan. So we are in the process of making arrangements to liaise to film. I also wanted to take my final words to discuss a topic dear to my heart and also one of our core values, 'Protecting the Environment'. At LightEyez we respect the Environment and we are committed to preserving it for current and future generations. This is why we opt to use minimal product packaging. We calculate, that just 5000 customers purchasing three drops in a year, equates to a minimum of 150,000 cardboard boxes that will likely end up in landfill. We believe that by using just Glass dropper bottles, that can be returned to us to be recycled or re-used by customers. We prevent the need for destroying trees for excess packaging and prevent all this cardboard reaching landfill. We are also committed to using recycled or reclaimed packaging for mailing, that is 100% recyclable. We hope that you will either reuse the packaging for your own mailing needs or recycle it. Further minimizing ours and your effect on the environment. Thank you for taking the time to read this blog entry. As I said we are more than happy to hear from every single one of you with comments, praises, concerns and suggestions. Please use the form below to get in touch and Michael B. Anderson, and the rest of our Customer relations department, will get back to you asap. Thanks Carlie Carmichael CEO LightEyez: The Eye Lightening Eye Drop

Hey Samantha, how is the progress going? Could you possibly send some before and after pics? I've been using for about 1.5 months now and I haven't really seen any changes. Some clear before and after pics would be very motivating! [email protected]

Has anyone tried the Advanced ultra strength?
Samantha Young
17/11/2017 15:16:33
Yes Latricia. I have. I am using it now for one months. I had previously lightened my eyes to honey with the other drops and was recommend to try this to make them blue. Thats what I am really going for now. They definitely seem stronger than the other drops though. My eyes were dry for about two days. But then they fixed. In one months I have gone from Honey shade to like a green brown. I suppose it is a muddy colour, lol, but I am really seeing the Green more and more each day. So is my boo. So I am super chuffed. You should try it :)

OMG am super excited for you. I have ordered 6 bottles of the ultra as well and I am ready to see these changes happen. What were the comments of your friends and family? Thanks for your reply. Regina has been really helpful in answering all my questions.

Hi guys. Just wanted to ask has anyone used ultra colour changing drops. I have very dark brown eyes. Anyone got results using these drops and how long did it take. I have been using them them for a little over a week now and can't really tell the difference sometimes I think there is a subtle change other days they look the same. I know it takes much longer but would like some reassurance if anyone has tried it. Also is anyone using MSM drops too.

Hi Sarah, i am currently using the Ultra Advanced drops. It has been about 1 mnth and 10 days...I am also using the MSM drops, no changes as yet, but we were instructed that it does take atleast 3mmths to see changes. So hang in there. :-)

Extremely slow delivery. First bottle I bought took nearly 2 weeks to arrive. Purchased second bottle 6 days ago and it hasn't even been shipped yet. Very disappointed with the delivery time given the high cost of the product.

Why did you delete my comment? Because I said something less than praising of your product? Shady business practice.

I have finished 1 bottle and am on a second bottle for a while, I think a higher strength this time, I just wanted to ask if you don’t regurlarly use the eye drops as recommended does it take even longer than it already does to see a change in lightening eyes?

Hi I just bought your msm drop and Manuka honey one (although I did receive the jarrah honey instead for some reason but it seems to be stronger according to your site) and wondering do I use the msm drop first, then wait 10min before adding the jarrah honey or is it the other way round. I mainly got these to help clear the brown spots of pigment on the whites of my eye which I've become self conscious about over the years and hoping this will at least lighten them significantly. Also would it work better if I drop them on the spots themselves or does the whole eye absorb them no matter what? Thanks and hope to hear from you guys.
LightEyez - Matt

Hey Chris. Yes we had stock shortage of the item you ordered. So it was upgraded (rather than making you wait).
Chris
2/4/2018 14:01:45
Okay thank you for responding and so fast too! Oh I see so the Jarrah honey is better after all. I appreciate the upgrade for sure. I'll make sure to use your advice and here's hoping I can lighten these annoying spots and feel more confident when making eye contact with people. Also a slightly lighter eye color would be cool too as I have dark brown eye color. Take care! Hi guys I am on my 5th month of using ultra eye lighting drops I even tried the colour accelerating drops. I am dissappoineted as I have seen no change. My eyes still remain dark brown. No-one has noticed even a slight change. I was really hoping this product would work. The ultra range has a 6 month money guarantee. One more bottle and one more month to see if I can get any results but seems unlikely at this point. Don't think the drops did anything at all to my eyes. Considering how the ultra drop is advertised I really thought it would work. Even dark brown to light brown would have been a pleasent change and given me some hope. Maybe laser is the only way to change someone's eye colour. If anyone has some clear real pictures of some change please share as I am yet to see a clear close up picture of change in eye colour.

I am ordering my Ultra this week. You’re scaring me. Lol. It would be nice if someone who benefited from the effects of Ultra would post some updates to give us hope.

16/4/2018 22:22:33
Hey Aaliyah I haven't gotten the ultra drops but I do find it interesting how several people here say they're not working for them. I personally got the cheaper ones, the Jarrah honey and msm extra strength and they're definitely working for me at just 2 weeks in. I bought them to lighten the pigment spots on the white of my eye, not for eye color lightening and yet it's doing both . The darker the pigment/eye color the longer it will take though which is why it's only been a slight change in eye color, but significant change in eye whitening. I think the iris is set deeper into the eye and so it takes longer to cause noticeable changes. My vision is surprisingly much better too. It wasn't even bad to begin with and now I'm looking at the world with so much astonishment just seeing how clear everything looks now lol. So I hope this helps you decide cos it definitely works and this is coming from someone who didn't expect anything at first. Also I found you get faster results using the punctal occlusion technique when putting the drops in where you hold your fingers over the corner of your eyes for a couple minutes so the formula doesn't drain quickly down into your tear ducts.
