FAQ: Are your pictures real / edited?

We find ourselves in a difficult situation where if we take and upload professional photos, people will say they are photoshopped Vs if we put candid pics up people email to say they don't look professional.

Thus, we have tried to strike a balance user submitted photos. professional and isolated eyes. The majority of our photo-bank is from customers who have submitted their photos to us. We believe this provides the most accurate, real world outcomes for our products. (Please note as these pictures are not taken by us, we have no control over the lightening, angles or framing of pictures. The only editing we do is cropping).

One of the comments we get is that people say: 'The person looks the same in their pictures, apart from the eye change'.

However, If you look closely at the pictures, individuals hair may have changed, or their acne is differentetc...
Typically people do not change much over months to 1 year period, especially when the average age of our participants is within the 20-35 age range.
Thus, it is expected that before and after pictures will be quite similar.

We are now beginning to upload photos from our light eyes study. You will see these are in a different style.
